A two day summer camp experience in upstate New York providing spent moms a chance to catch their breath, bond with other women, take in nature, and get some much deserved SLEEP!
Our summer camp venue is Wiawaka Holiday House in Lake George, New York.
Wiawaka was created by and for women in 1903. It is the oldest and longest continuously operating retreat for women in America. Wiawaka grounds feature 60 acres of property directly on Lake George with hiking trails, gardens, swimming and boating from their dock, fire pit, quaint Victorian cottages, and an Adirondack lodge.
An atmosphere to do nothing or connect with others surrounded by nature.
We've coordinated a summer camp inspired experience with some upscale touches and activities that you can either take part in or not. It is up to you. This is your weekend. You can drink your coffee while it is still hot, do some gentle yoga, take a workshop, swim, hike, read a book, and take as many naps as you'd like during your stay. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other mothers, share meals, and sit around the camp fire together.
Who we are
I'm Mary Elise. I work two jobs while also raising a toddler. By day I work in finance and on nights and weekends I'm an event designer for my business Mary Elise Rees Event Design. After becoming a first time mom and realizing the exhaustion that comes with loving another life with all your being I wanted to create an event for women like myself to recapture a bit of their individual selves and recharge. I feel strongly about supporting other women in both creating this retreat for the attendees and making it a priority to collaborate with women owned local business.
