Weaving w/ Margot Becker

In this 3-hour class, learn to weave your own creative wall hangings in this Introduction to Tapestry Weaving with Margot Becker.  An ancient technique practiced all over the world, weaving is a beautiful meditative art form that can easily be incorporated into your day to day life.  This class will provide an understanding of the fundamentals of tapestry weaving as well as some specialized techniques to achieve unique textures and woven patterns for your piece.  You will leave with the skills to create your own cloth which can stand alone or be part of future sewing projects.  The workshop fee includes tools and materials that will be yours to keep: a loom, weaving tools, and enough yarn to complete at least one 12" x 16" wall hanging.. Register here.
